fisher98
catchin'' i just checked the local shell lake -lake elevation status....as of 4-12 the lake is down about 2 feet from last year at this time. The wisconsin dnr surveyers of shoreline conditions have found many dead trees, expansive areas of sandy shoreline, and even some bouldery shorelines...interesting.....so i hope this helps!!!!!! I heard you have an awesome up and coming angler that is slowly gaining state-wide recognition....i heard he may be up there may 1st-----check the campground...he may be in the shower though--he has many shower tokens to use up!!!!GOOD LUCK!!!!On may ask, why do i use a bait that is so loud......cause it works!!!!fisher98

catchin'whopper
So no one has any reports, anything meaningful about this lake? Think i am going to still check it out this saturday.
catchin'whopper
Tough fishign this past weekend on shell. We fished on saturady and managed one walleye on a tube bait. The smallies were seen on teh aquavu on the cribs in small schools but eitehr skittish or just starting to move in. Water temps down there were 45-46 degrees, surfaced temps from 47-51 in the north part of the lake. Thinking action should be a little better this weekend for the smallies though. Fisher98 caught a few largies in the south, but said it was tough fishing as well. Warmer weather is on teh way though, should be spawning in no time!-Catchin whopper
