2002 Yamaha Grizzly leaking gas

I would take the gas tank off and see if it is leaking from the hose from the valve to the carbarator. If not I would take the carb off and clean it. I would bet you have some junk between the needle and seat which isnt allowing them to close, then the gas would run out the overflow of the carbarator. From the factory there is a small hose (about 1/8") that comes off the bottom of the carb and hangs beside the motor which is the overflow. Yours may or may not still have this hose because alot of them fall off.

Yeah check you float needle and seat in the carb. Poor some gas in the gas tank turn the petcock on and watch where the gas leaks from. it likely will be from the overflow of the carb which means a new needle and seat. Also make sure the screw for the carb drain hasnt came out. That is in the same spot as the overflow.
