Lake Winnipeg Update for 17/01/09

Yesterday while out on Lake Winnipeg, a group totalling twelve

hammered over 225 walleye! Many of these walleye were huge, weighing over 5 pound average. In total there were five trophies iced, with the largest behemoth being a whopping 32"'s and tipping the scales at a very impressive 14.5 pounds.

The crew is on the lake today so we'll wait and see how they fare.

Sadly for these guys, they're trip will end this evening.

Roger shouold be pulling in anytime now. The weather looking fantastic for the coming days and my plans are to join Roger on the lake tomorrow.

On another note, Eso's service is being held on Wednesday, so I don't have to tell you where I'll be...

bite is still on. 2 of us caught 30 on Tues. Fished 11:00-4:30.

All good fish, only 1 MA though.
