Why is it when your sight fishing gills, and you have 3 nice ones looking at it, the little 6" fish comes racing out of no where and hammers your jig before you can get it out of the way.. 8-)

Dietz, I solved this problem by using a small forage minnow to keep the little guys from touching it.

As many stated, it was an ok problem to have....

I cant state enough how important it is to have a rod rigged with a larger spoon of some sort. I use it as a decoy while fishing. When ever the hole was blank I would drop the decoy down and bang it around.. Brings em right back in.

I'm gonna have to try that. My nephew does it and says it works.
