Deitz Dittrich
Why is it when your sight fishing gills, and you have 3 nice ones looking at it, the little 6" fish comes racing out of no where and hammers your jig before you can get it out of the way.. 8-)

Juan Grande
Better than sight fishing and having no fish looking at it. That was me today
croixflats
The big guys have wisdom, little guy thinks he has something to prove besides they know your watching. Try looking away and look through the corner of your eyes.
Christopher Quast
Dietz, I solved this problem by using a small forage minnow to keep the little guys from touching it.

Deitz Dittrich
As many stated, it was an ok problem to have....I cant state enough how important it is to have a rod rigged with a larger spoon of some sort. I use it as a decoy while fishing. When ever the hole was blank I would drop the decoy down and bang it around.. Brings em right back in. My nephew does it and says it works.
