badfish
Anyone got some straight forward building plans for a spearhouse? I would like to build one this year and maybe get it out before the end of the season hopefully. My budget is around a thousand dollars
eric29
Pretty big budget for a spearhouse. Mine was pretty easy to build, not much to it. And i did it for alot cheaper than that.
Fisherman1526
Should only cost a couple hundred bucks. I build mine 4x5 with a 24"x30" hole in one corner. Nice and light can throw it in and out of the pickup myself no problem. Can try and send a pic if youd like.
bassNspear
check out this link. I think it would help you out.http://www.mndarkhouse.org/Tutorials.htm
Early Riser
http://www.fishingminnesota.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/forums/119/10/Bowfishing_SpearingBadfish, This link might help. So far the house is working out great. The whole thing probably only cost a few hundred dollars. You would be able to put something together in a day or two in your garage.Put in the braces anywhere there is a corner. It really makes it sturdy. I may change the floor configuration on this house or my next house, and sacrifice a little hole size so that I can have the heater in front of me. I like the idea of using a small wood stove like spearhead does. Check Les Kouba's "Darkhouse Spearing" print for layout. Elwood has built some really nice houses and has a link on here as well. If you get something built try and put up some pictures for us to get some more ideas.
