Gas Meter

WHy would the gas meter on the dash of my Cat 500 keep blinking even when its full it does it?

What does a guy have to do to get it fixed or maybe fix it on his own?

my first guess would be the sending unit. I've seen cases where this has happened before.

I'm not sure on the year or if you bought the machine new, but it might also be something diagnostic and will be outlined in the troubleshooting portion of the owners manual.

almost sounds like the float in the tank is stuck or off track. use your flashlight to look inside the tank. other than that, it could be a faulty sensor.
