The dems took over control 2 yrs ago and they have done squat. Let's face it, dem, republican, it doesn't matter. They say what it takes to get into office and then ride the fence until they need to start making empty promises again when up for election.

I have the Cabelas Quiet Blind Heater/Cooker. It is small and is more than effecient for my portable Yukon, and when I want to eat my soup or fry up some fish I can put it on it's back and it makes for a great cooker.

This is listed on the Cabela's HSOforum:

I used to have one of the small sunflowers tht attached to the top of the 1# cylinders, bbut somehow got ruined. 8 years ago or so I won a Coleman Procat,9000Btus, and I get at least 5 or 6 continuous hours out of a 1#er on highest setting. You can also add 4D batteries and it will move the heat a little better, have done this only a couple of times,it works fine without the fan on.

THE REASON THE SUNFLOWER HEATERS HEAT MORE AND ARE RATED FOR LESS BTU IS THAT THE BTU RATING IS INPUT NOT OUTPUT HEAT.

BTU is output only

British thermal unit

n. Abbr. BTU or Btu

The quantity of heat equal to 1/180 of the heat required to raise the temperature of one pound of water from 32° to 212°F at a constant pressure of one atmosphere.
