sheepheadslayer
I live in MN and hunt north of Hayward. I was wondering if there are any processing places that take whole deer. Now that we can't bring the deer over the border i need to find someone to process it for me. Thanks Tim
Havin' Fun
You can take the deer across if you quarter it. Skin it, cut out the tenderloins and backstraps and quarter it and take it in. Just can't leave the head or spine on it.[This message has been edited by Hammer em' (edited 11-14-2003).]
SPIN DRY
Any butcher shop will process it. Which way do you come home?
Smeds
The Meat Palace on HWY 27 south in Hayward take & process whole deer. They have some of the best brats & hunter sticks around. Another option is Whiskey Ridge, in Radisson on HWY 27 South about 15 miles from Hayward. Awesome brats, and MArk is a real easy guy to deal with. Hope this helps! Shoot straight & be safe.
