Lakemaster vs. Navionics

Did you try switching to different map area just to see if it works. I had one I swore was in one map area and it turned out to be the only lake near that was in a different map area. Just a thought. This is why I like the LM chip better for use in lawrance units. I have both and wont even put the nav chip in the lowrance unless the lake is not on the LM.

get a color one they are alot nicer in finding the depths and even with the street map it alot better

I have both and use both. Depending on the lake I will be fishing will decide which chip I'll use.

i think this is what i'm gonna do...i just recently got a new h20c with the nav chip because a couple local lakes weren't on the lakemaster that i fish alot....thats the biggest difference...i'd hate to buy a chip cause some people tell you its better but then it don't have the lakes on it that you need it for.
