I hope this works. This is a 10" crappie that my son caught on Friday in a small lake in North-East Iowa.

Which lake in NE Iowa? I was fishing on Lake Meyer friday afternoon and all day saturday. We caught a couple nice size crappies and a lot of medium to almost large bluegills.

picksbigwagon- Lake Meyer is where we were at on Friday too. Great fog--ha. We were there today also. Just got done cleaning a hand full of fish. A 9" and 10" crappie and another 8 1/2" bluegill. Great place, only a 20 min. ride from house door to lake side.

Rope- My son loves to fish. I only wish we could get out more.

My aunt and uncle live in Calmar and I get to fish Lake Meyer once in a while. I generally catch a bazillion little sunnies and crappies. Good to know they are growing up a little!

That's a neat lake to fish. Some northerns in there!
