Aqua View vs Fish T.V. 7" models Need some info Please!!

What are the pros and cons of each? Is the Fish T.V as clear of a picture and does it work as good at night as the Aqua View? Interested in buying on or the other, just wondering if the extra $ for the aqua view is worth it.

well at the firehouse we have auqa view for body recovers under the ice and i have a fish tv and they both seem to work pretty well i say for the money fish tv was a great buy

i also bought a marcum camera aligner and it looks like a pail lid the the cable runs through make sre you get one of them or you will be just messing with the camera cable more then your fishing

I purchased a fishTV 7" the other day and am pleased with it. I dont know how well it will hold up but we will see. The guy at the store told me they had the same guts as the aqua veiws but the cameras were a little different. Any truth to this? Any other info on aqua veiw vs. fish TV?

I believe Fish TV is the same as Marcum, minus some bells and whistles, they both come from Nature vision, I believe Aqua View does also ...

The Fish TV is made by Nature Vision, however, I do not believe they are made the same. I know the monitors and cameras are different. It should hold up though!

The lighting is better on the Explorer 7 as it has enhanced suspended particulate defences in comparison to the Fish TV, and the package is complete with battery and charger. Also has a front jack to do video out to a DVR, camcorder, or laptop.

The fish TV is a good working unit but you will also need to purchase the battery system separately and install it, some added cost. Be sure to go with a 9 amp as cameras need lots of juice.
