picksbigwagon
Heading to Iowa this weekend and I am gonna help a buddy put reflextic in his guide. I have the 4' wide roll of reflectix, my question is am I going to hit the velcro straps on the canvas by sticking with the 4' width or will I have to cut two pieces and use a little more duct tape to get his roof insulated? Thanks for the help.....basically wondering where the attachment straps are located on the guide.
metrojoe
You may be able to slide it between the velcro straps, but then there will be approximately 6" on each side that won't be insulated. You'll just have to measure it when you get there. You may have to cut slots in the reflectix for the straps. Which isn't a bad thing, because then the refectix is held in place by the straps. Northlander
I just cut slots in the reflextex and slip the velcro through there. If it looks like the sheet isnt wide enough just make sure your seem isnt at a velcro point and you will be ok.He will surely enjoy the added heat benefit he will get. picksbigwagon
Thanks fella's. I am not sure where his velcro points are so it might take two sheets, or a sheet and a half.....
