Ed Carlson
Lures lure fish, sharp hooks catch fish.I always carry a thin hook file and use it often. Ultra tiny panfish jigs can be touched up with a fine grit emery cloth and can easily be kept in a pocket so it remains dry. A few even strokes away from the point will keep them efficient. blackdog1101
I touch mine up occasionally with a little diamond file that I keep in my tackle box. I don't worry about it too much with panfish though, more with hard mouthed fish like northerns.
Sonicrunch
I dont want to sharpen my hooks. I buy anodized hooks, and sharpening would remove the anodizing, leading to rusty hooks.
