gatorslayer
betterlabs, welcome to the great sport of spearing...Iv'e been spearing since I was 11 yrs. old (I'm 50 now) one piece of advice...we need to let the 30 to 39 inchers swim through.I know it's hard to tell exactly how big they are, I try not to spear any over 30 " (about seven lbs.) unless she looks worthy for the wall, I have a 41 and a 46 on my wall, thats enough. Betterlabs
I would love to put a big one on the wall, let me know where to go to do that! Send me an e-mail anytime [email protected] I just turned 50 in Jan. I have been hunting ducks since I was 4 years old. I didn't know about spearing until a friend introduced it to me last year. I also have the collecting bug. I have collected duck decoys, calls, shell boxes for years. Now I love collecting fish decoys. I have carved a few duck decoys. I would like to learn the art of carving fish decoys next. Brian ><>

Betterlabs
Thanks Gatorslayer! MJ1657 Yes that was a Dillo type spear made by Lee Moening being raffled. There was also a Fabeck spear someone had delivered for a member that I was able to look at.
