Steve, that Explore MN shot is amazing. There are so many elements to it.

Just the fact of the animal being there is enough, but then the ironic nature of the word "Explore" followed by what seems to be almost perfectly placed icicles.

You need to take bow for that one!

Thanks, everyone. It was a very cool day.

Darren, I'll take a bit of credit but not too much. At the time I captured that, I was grateful for the license plate because I knew that it would mark the location as the bumper of a vehicle, which allowed me a tight composition that still provided the viewer a sense of place and context.

It wasn't until I got the image up on the computer screen that I noticed the "Explore Minnesota" motto. It was at that point I started laughing at all the elements that had fallen into place.
