Lake Winnipeg appears different now.

Just a few days ago, I was photographing the sun & waves along the shores of Lake Winnipeg. Due to the recent (below normal) cold snap, those days of open water are gone for yet another season.

This massive expanse of water is constantly subjected to wind, in other words, it really gets battered when the winds pick up! There is literally miles upon miles of eastern shoreline that appear in this manor!

I like the sunrise/sunset shot. There is something about that color of orange that is so relaxing.
