Cooking stoves

What does everyone use for cooking in your permanent house? I'm thinking of a propane camp stove but am interested in any ideas.

I picked up a three burner out of a old starcraft popup camper at an RV salvage place for 15 clams.

3 burner cooktop with oven you need somewere to cook the frozen pizza

Northern Stores have two and three burner cast iron cook stoves.These work great in shacks.

Get the oven too! I have one and wouldn't be without it. Frozen pizzas, or how about making a pan of your favorite hotdish or lasagna and just heating it up in the oven for dinner. Works great for good dinners on the ice! Also there is the extra safety factor too, if your heater ever goes on ya you can start the oven and crack a window,..works great!

Upnorth - any ideas on what I should stock the basement with? I was thinking bass would probably like the structure, but I'm afraid I would be out of season and I don't really like to eat them. (j.k.)

The reason I'm asking about stoves is because I have young kids I will be taking out with me this year, and I want to make it comfortable for them. (young meaning 3 and under.)

Just keep the basement nice and cold and stock it with Mrs. Pauls. No cleaning and the kids will actually eat them.

I tried that but both my wife and Mr. Pauls were upset. What's a guy to do?

Go buy a apartment size cook stove. Their narrower then a normal stove and have a oven. Any store that handles regular stoves either carries them or can get them.

Fill the basement with water, stock a few fish, drill some holes in the kitchen floor. An apartment stove? Please!! This is fishing ain't it, the great outdoors!!!

I myself would stock it with walleyes, crappie or trout. They are in season more often and taste pretty good. Although Mrs. Pauls ain't bad.
