Advice On Using A Deer Call

Hey guys, just purchased a new call (my first) and it's a buck/grunt call. It has a tube on it, and if I take the tube off, it makes a medium low sound, if I extend it it makes a relatively high sound, and if I use it with it just on without extending the tube it makes a deep sound. When do I use what, and how do I use it? Thanks guys, hopefully my first weekend hunting'll be a good one!

High sounds are doe and fawn bleats. Medium tones are doe grunts / young buck grunts. Low tones are mature buck grunts.

My advice is to watch a few hunting shows where they use the calls, and try to imitate.
