Upgrading my Lowrance

Folks, I'm thinking of upgrading my LCX-27c to version 2.4.0. Anyone have any difficulties with this release?

How's the unit working? What is the upgrade supposed to help or fix?

I would make you have a copy of your current Software version so you can revert back to it if something goes awry!

Units working fine now, just thinking of staying current.

Among other things, the upgrade includes:

- Added Navionics Platinum support including 3D view and panoramic photos

- Improved sonar digital depth tracking in weeds and over bluffs

- Improved ethernet stability

- Many modifications to radar settings and features

It works for me (now using 2.4.2 beta and that's been

problem free also).
