"Beauty Mountain"

A special place located about 12 miles south of Hibbing that is unrieveled for it's colorful maples each Fall...actually close to Beauty Lake...plus the area's mature wooded forest is full of other mushrooms and things for the casual "naturalist/photographer to enjoy...and enjoy it I did this morning!

mushrooms known as "Shaggy Scalecaps"(I think )

spotted this magpie feeding on a dead skunk(nearby) this morning also...not alot of these guys around....
