Hey, I'm not done ice fishing yet. I'm heading out to Dakota for four days of fun on the ice. A couple weeks ago, someone broke the So.Dak. Perch record and I'm going to try to make his reign a short one. Some people dream of winning the lottery, I dream of big perch. Some of my kinfolk out there think that lake has more than one state record in it.

There's still PLENTY of ice out there, and there's still PLENTY of limits as I found out today!

I'm still driving on the lakes and the sunnies and crappies are just starting to pick up, big time.

You can dream of open water if you want but for me the best fishing of the year for panfish is just coming. It's the greatest time of the year!!!!

I'm still ice fishing also...got my limit of crops Friday and the ice was in very good conditon where I was. I walked out but there were a few cars on the lake. The weather forcast for the upcoming week doesn't look good for ice fishing though, low 60's by Sat.

Hmmmmm, not markers, you wouldn't see anything. mabye there is some kind of fabric paint that I don't knowabout?

Maybe one of those Metalic perm markers? You need to shake them and push the tip in every so often but it may work.
I will try to find something.
