Broken windshield???

When I got home from fishing over the weekend I found that the drivers side of my walk through windshield was shattered all over the boat. Must of caught a rock on the interstate. Can I replace it with plexy glass (it is a flat glass), or should I use real glass? Also any pointers on installation would be appreciated. Thanks!

Val has a lot of windsheild glass and parts he is trying to give away. He is I believe a sponcer on FM, give him a call or post.

I think I would stick with real glass - Plexy Glass scratches pretty easily and that's the last thing I'd want to have to look out of when I'm driving...
