stealthcam 5.0 mp

Hey guys i just put a 5.0 megapixel stealthcam on a new property today. I've never used one and i was just wondering what kind of battery life i'm going to get out of it? The wildview i have i can get a couple hundred pictures out of a set of batteries. Is this stealthcam the same deal? I'm pumped about this new property and i hope to have some good pics.

try googling for trail cam reviews .... there's a site that does that, not sure if they can be mentioned here. I just bought a scoutguard because of their reviews .... very detailed and objective.

I have a Stealthcam, but not the 5.0 model. Unsure if you can use the external gel cell battery in that model, but I use the 12V battery pack that plugs in to the camera. No worries for battery life. It will go for 2 months in warm temps and I recharge every 2-3 weeks when it's cold.

I've never used the alkalines in my Stealthcam.
