Here's the image of the chicory flower I wanted to recapture before I had the idea about doing the short tutorial on macro, depth of focus and aperture.

It's exactly how I saw the flower in my mind's eye.

Canon 30D, Canon 100 f2.8 macro, 36mm Kenko extension tube, iso100, 5 seconds at f32, tripod, remote shutter release, mirror lock-up, gold reflector disk to push warm sun reflection into heart of the bloom

Thanks, guys. Sure was a bit of an exercise cloning out all those bitty dust specks that showed up at f32, but what the heck?
