I have also used both St Croixs that Fluke was talking about and I use the MHM for lures like a DT10 and smaller and the Heavy Mod for lures like the DD22's and DT16's and love both of them. If they had the HM in a 7'6" it would be ideal for those bigger cranks. I will agree that if you are trying to rip these baits through weeds you will need to lean towards the heavier rod. St Croix also makes these rod models in the Premier Series and they have a new series coming out called the Mojo Bass which have the features of the Legend Tournament but at around the $90-$100 price.
