Guest
Nothing like a big crappie, I'm not sure why but a 11 inch crappie thru the ice is a heck of beast, the every once in a while decent pike doesn't hurt either. We caught a smallie too. Here's how the first 5 minutes went, Patrick caught 4 crappies, Eric caught 3 crappies including a 14.5 and a smallie, Jason had 3 crappies and I caught the pike a nice 31 incher on a Custom Jigs and Spins Demon. Most of the fish ate Shrimpos tipped with a crappie minnow. We fished crappie for about 3 hours and I'll bet we caught 65-70. All crappies over 12 inches went back down the hole. We fished by ourselves! LOW is one cool body of water!

happyfish
Great Video! Wondering if you were out of Souix Narrows. My Turkey Hunting pal has a cabin in Snake Bay and we have always thought about a crappie trip. I'm originally from Ifalls and have made the crappie trip a long time ago. Northlander
I tell ya the folks at Muskie Bay Resort are awesome. They go out of their way to make you happy and the meals are incredible! Get the meal plan! You wont regret it. We were up last year and caught tons of nice crappie, huge Muskie, Lakers, Northern and a few Eyes. Nice to fish alone isnt it Pete? Guest
Your right Steve, It's so rare to pound crappies with nobody fishing near you. It's total relaxation. Missed you at Chequamegon yesterday. We caught and released about 30 of em.
