Going to try this lake for the first time this week and was just looking for any overall advice on the lake. Been wanting to fish this lake for awhile now but never have gotten around to it.

Let me know how it goes, I've always thought about fishing that lake but haven't done it either.

I fished 'washta a few times this year. It's quite a unique lake that it's catch and release bass, so the bass have probably seen every and anything that you can throw out there. I think the key is to keep on casting and cover ground. I'd try any break in weeds and the bullrushes. There is kind of a sunken island I believe "East"? of the launch that can hold a few bass and snot rockets. I did well covering a LOT of ground on spinnerbaits and cranks. When you find some bass, switch to a slower plastic bait (comida, senk, B assassins), GOOD LUCK!

Just to clarify, I was on Lipless cranks, not deepwater cranks.
