Winnie accommodations

If you havent got a room yet for Winnie its going to be hard, I found one at the Palace Resort and Casino about 20 mi away.
Is anyone staying at Denny's? I want to hook up with someone staying there and possibly stow my gear there for the night. I dont trust my equipment in a casino parking lot.
Any help would be good.

Frozenminnow, I'm not staying at Denny's but I definately agree not to leave your equipment in the casino parking lot. I have had problems in that general area before, not at the casino though.

A bunch of FMers are staying there.Of Course I would still lock your vehicles.Gear hungry FMers lurking around! Its a short drive to Winnie from there.
They are located right between Winnie and Upper Red.A bunch of us are also staying there for the Red Lake ICE Series too.

Sorry but im booked at the casino the mrs. said so, she wants her free casino book, but the next time we are in the area we will give a call I have heard good things about Drakes and Blackduck.
I just want a spot that I can leave my auger rod locker etc. and still be able to sleep and I'm sure I'm not alone on this. I wonder if Denny's would let us store some stuff in a cabin they are not renting? Or possibly in the bar? I would be willing to kick in a few bucks to keep my gear safe.

I talked to Rhonda at Denny's and she said they would help out storing some gear. I must say they sound like real friendly people. It sounds like we are in for some great hospitality from these folks for sure. Good call on the resort, Rick.

She actually got the first pout in our house.
She will give them a run for the gun at Winnie. Dont let my Carhartt hunny wearing bunny fool you, ifish2 can set a mean hook. and she can rip a minnow in half in a second I dont cut bait I rip bait.
Northlander we wish you and SurfaceTension could be there but there is so much going on and so little time. We hope to see you both at MilleLacs.
