I have a 2007 500 X2 and we have looked through the manual 3 times and we can't find out where to add the brake fluid? Do we just open the master cylinder cover and add it there? The manual says to add it when we can see in the round window that it is low, but doesn't specify where.

I am not 100% certain but I believe the rubber gasket with the little window comes out to add it there.

correct... dont put to much in or when you put the rubber seal back in it will overflow and make a mess.

you will also need to bleed them after adding fluid because there will be air bubbles in the line.

the 2 bleeder screws for the front and rear brakes are located by rear calibler. look for the 2 rubber caps.

Do you have a leak somewhere? Or did the dealer not put in enough? Don't know why a 2007 would need fluid already?
