Oven Problem

After running the self-cleaning function, neither the broiler or oven heating elements will work. The stove top elements are working as well as the clock and timer. The oven is a Whirlpool accutemp drop-in unit. Is there a high temp cutoff switch or should I just change out the sensor and thermostat to see if that corrects the problem? Thanks, John.

Check the rods inside the oven - they may have shorted out - you would likely see a break in them. Strange that they would both go at once, but that baby gets awfully hot in that cleaning cycle.
