What height

I am re-modeling my master bedroom/bathroom. I put a register in the new room.. At what height should the tin register be?? Its a floor register. I put 1/2" OSB down on the sub-floor and I plan to put another 1/2" of CLD??? (whatever u call it) down and put the carpet pad and carpet on... Thanks in advance.

Flush with the top of new flooring material.If you put the OSB over the existing flooring save some $$$ and time just carpet over the OSB.
