Turkey Harassament

Day care closed today so in trying to get my oldest out the door for school, I look out my kitchen window and this is what I see:

2nd year in a row I didn't get drawn and now those dirty birds are invading my backyard. I opened the sliding glass door and told my two sons (5 and 6) to stay inside and once that door was open, they were on the back porch....Duh!!! there was a hen in the lead and when I first saw this fella, he was in full strut.

tomorrow morning, I am going to get camo'd up and sit in my backyard and see if I can call them in off the roost.

I would guess about a 7" beard, never saw the spurs......Maybe more pictures tomorrow morning

you can still purchase an archery tag That might not go too well if you're in city limits.

That's like me having a buck in my yard the day before deer hutning.

These critters sure seem to know when to kick a guy when he's down, don't they?
