Michigan license lost

Recommended Posts

I'm guessing you didn't just buy it, but if you did you can reprint it online. If it is old, you have to go to a licensed dealer and have them print you a new one. If you lost your sportscard, they will charge you for another one of those, but I don't think they charge for a reprint of your license.

Need Help-- I'm going up to the UP and fishing Northern Lake Michigan. I'm leaving Aug 7th and fishing until Aug 10th or 11th.

We will be fishing Salmon,Trout, and Walleye(And Whatever else). I'm not going on a Charter or Launch. Will be on a boat with a friend of a friend. What do I need for a license and what is the cost? Can I purchase it online? We may plan on going up there this Winter for a long Weekend also. Is there a license that would cover both trips.

Thanks for any help.

Hey robbo, the best thing you can get since you are going for a long period of time (longer than 24 hrs.) is the "nonresident all-species" license ($42), which covers all waters of the Great Lakes (in the MI border of course). You'll also need the sportscard ($1) which you can get at any license dealer.

You can buy them on line ahead of time, or just stop at any Holiday station along the way. Here's the link:
