I recently purchased a used 1999 681 VS Ranger Fisherman. My problem is this. The front bow base doesn't seem to receive the standard 1.77" spring lock pedestal. Do I need some sort of adapter or bushing? I can't figure this out?

i'd contact a dealer that sells ranger's, and has an in house outfitter and i bet this get's solved. or post this in the equipment, expert info page too. bunch of know it alls there.they should be able.
