Well as much as we all talked about how much of a pain the may 1 opener is, mabe it wont be so bad this year. The last few have been uneventfull. Counting down the days, and getting the retrievers rigged. Anyone else getting excited???

Cant wait but I will have to wait a little longer because my turkey season runs May 1st-5th. Hopefully I can get a gobbler in the morning and some carp in the afternoon.

Less than a week to go and I choose to tear the interior out of my boat and remodel!!!!!! Guess I will be hunting from shore for a while.

Looking to be very wet and cold thurs-sun. Bummer.

Still may give it a shot though.

I will probably leave the boat home and shoot from shore until the weather gets better. It will be nice just to get out and see some fish even if shooting is slow.
