I'm going to get my permit to buy and was wondering what the costs are. I know the waiting time for them to do background checks but what is the waiting period when you purchase from the dealer? Thanks for any info.

Permit to purchase is free.

I am not sure I understand the second part of your question.

The wait you have from the time you apply for your purchase permit untill you receive your permit is your wait time. The day you get it in the mail you can go buy your gun. No need for a second wait.

surewood, waiting time is about 30 days as long as there are no problems..
