Guest
Cyberfish... 2 cool I think a jug band is a band that sounds better before the jug is opened! Or, now has the "jug" cause they blue grass too much!Na... just kidden, it is a band that plays hillbilly, country, pop, rock, and all types of music.. only with a "down home" flair & feel.Traditionally a jug band has a scrub-board, blues-harp, fiddle, and banjo "feel" to the music.Where do you live? What do you play?Shoot me an email so we can bump heads on this... Guest
Here is what my brain came up withTo the tune of Luckenbach Texas. We must have someone on this site that can sing like Waylon and Willy. The only two things in life that make it worth livin.is tight lines and a day out fishin.who cares if I see fish on my vexilar light.I got my wife and I got my kids with me tonight.maybe its time we got back to the basics of life.Lets go to Fishing Minnestoa with Rick and Catch'n and the boys. The hot bite we are gettin got as feeling like its worth all the money we spent on toys.Between MJ5's new tips and backwater's old tricks.Out to the lake we runOn fishing minnesota "We have more fun"That is all the farther I got, before I figured I better get back to work.Scott

buzbunni
I couldn't resist any longer. Excellent lyrics; I think there's a FM CD in the works. I'd be up for a jam sometime. I should be back into a practice space soon, here in the cities (soon as I get me a job. Do I want one?). I plav electric bass, trumpet, trombone, guitar, keyboards (um...kinda), harp, drums, and any upsidedown garbage can. Jack of all trades; master of none. Also have a Korg mini studio that's giving me headaches (I'm very technologically challenged), but I should get the hang of recording with it in about 3-5 years. I'll never give up on my rock n' roll dreams...never.... ------------------SERIOUSLY! It was THIS big!

Dave, oh we are definitely gonna jam. I've got relatives flocking in from all over so I don't know how much time I'll have to work on a song, but I'd love to at the least jam (it's a start!). How can I turn down Secret Lake! I think I recall you saying you had an axe plus a cool amp. I propose I bring down my bass gear and we start from there. Pop me an e-mail at [email protected] and we'll work it out. 12/22-23 looks like a go for me (I'll shop on the 24th . Ive got a Miles Davis thing going on right now but I should be over it by then. Guest
Went out with Elliot. We pounded the sunnies on Secret Lake. Had a blast using Jigging Raps and Bio-Bait Mealworm Shiner. Fish were on the drop in 22' next to a sunken island that came up to 17' and dropped into 29'. Not very many, but they were big!Very FUN.... (I attempted to load photos... but failed.)We got a handle on the FM theme shon and Elliot is in process of refining it. It is "Meet Me On The Water" and a reel dandy tune! You guys & gals are just gonna LOVE it! I do. It is "playing" over & over in my head 24/7 now.Catch'nDave Hoggard ------------------Fishermen are catch-n onCatch'n TackleFor Bass, Walleye, Pike, Lakers, Trout, PanfishUsed by FishingMN Family [This message has been edited by Catch'n (edited 01-05-2004).] [This message has been edited by Catch'n (edited 01-08-2004).]
