JP Z
I just picked some up to try this year, Had soo many plastics I just didn't think I "needed" anymore. Well I pulled the trigger at the show.......so how do you rig them? Texas, Jighead, as a Jig Trailer.......
Deitz Dittrich
I'm not telling you.. its a secret. Booooooo ha ha ha~~~ Ok, they work great on a regular round head jig(jig worm), they work great on football jigs, Ive used them with carolina rigs, They are a great flippin/pitching lure.. and Ive dropshotted the smaller sizes. Deitz Dittrich
Dude, its a hunk of plastic.. its uses is only held back by ones own imagination.Whatever you do, dont try to rig it backwards on a carolina rig... the little flappy things dont curl up and look like a crawfish and it doesnt catch fish, never, ever! Matter of fact I dont want you to get frstrated fishing them.. I will dispose of them for me, you have my addy just send them my way. You can thank me later. RK
Hiya - (Back from Florida...)Beaver type baits are pretty hard to use wrong. I Texas rig them for flipping (actually I usually use a Northland Jungle Lock jig rather than a separate hook and weight), Carolina rig them, love them on Football heads, and they're a pretty good jig and pig trailer too. They're kind of like a tube - they just look like food, and if you put them in the water, they'll get eaten.Cheers,Rob Kimm

rockman
Most of the replies have already covered the beaver style baits rigs that I use.My main use of beavers is as plastic dressing for weedless jigs, and add 'em to football jigs.Gonna have to give the beavers a good college try on a carolina rig, this summer.
