Marker for customizing bucktails & jigs

Hey all,

I was looking at some of the posts on customizing jigs and adding stripes, etc. to hair on bucks and jigs. I saw the word "sharpie" used.....is the true Sharpie Brand marker the best brand to use?

Just want to make sure I use the right marker and not make a mess.....looks fun!

art supply/craft/fabric stores have paint markers, expensive but i like them best.

cjac - I havent tried anything other than Sharpie's. They stay on the hair quite well, i'd imagin any "permanent" marker would work...

I used sharpies on the hair on my muskie bucktails last year and it seems to be holding up very well. Also used it to customize a couple suicks and it looks nearly as good as the paint.
