MrBaz
Recently The forarm on my Remington 11-87 was cracked by a careless dog,(basically my fault), I have been looking on line to order a new forarm but can only find composite stocks and camo, am I looking in the wrong place?, would a local gunsmith be able to order this part, or would I have to contact Remington?, any help would be appreciated. koonie
Have you contacted Remington. I'd try calling them. I had the same thing happen on my 11-87 20 ga. Premier and they had me send in the cracked forearm so they could match the wood to go with the stock. They wound up sending me a synthetic to get me through the season and then sent me two wood replacements and told me to keep all three. My gun was under warranty so it didn't cost me anything. If your gun isn't under warranty they may charge you but if you send in your cracked forearm they can at least match it up so it'll look good with your stock.
