My favorite is the same line I use all summer, and I use my summer reels on winter ice rods.

Trilene XL, tipped with a fluorocarbon leader in clear water.

P-Line. Tough stuff.

Rick-howdy neighbor, sorry we didn't make it out on the lake this fall. Next spring lets set it up some time.

As for line, I have been using the P-line Floroice. And I see no reason to try any other line!!!

Hey Exude, how's it going? Yeah, too bad we didn't get out this fall, but we'll have to hook up next year, especially since my mother in-law sold out her half of the cabin we have up there, so I'm not even sure how much I'll be able to go up, if at all! I'm not too happy about it, but it wasn't my decision. You gonna do any ice fishing this year? I think my cousin is gonna put his permanent on S. Center this year, or maybe chisago. He is planning on putting it on the channel in Chisago as soon as the ice will hold it. Maybe we can hook up for a few hours. Well, take it easy!
