Dave, they're spread throughout the whole river, fall run fish are dropping back and spring fish are just moving up. And the two spots you're asking about are both pretty much the same area.

People are not going to give you their hotspots online, it sounds like you know a few spots, go give em a try.

Hey Quickstrike or anyone else for that matter. A buddy and I are heading up to the Brule this weekend for a 4 day excursion. Unfortunately with the recent rain the main river looks unfishable. My buddy told me about bringing our kayaks and trying to fish the mouth of the river. Does anybody have any experience with fishing the mouths of the river in kayaks?

I don't personally, but it's worth a shot. The river will be very high, but it might start to clear by the end of the weekend.
