Deitz Dittrich
not sure I understand your question. Are wanting to know what to use to make a home made target?.. Or are you looking for something to put behind your target in case you miss?
huntmup
I use the Block. It's 18"x18" and has 5-1 1/2" or 2" targets on it. I shoot one arrow at each targets. The Block is 20 or 30 yards off my deck down hill. It's like i'm in a 15ft. stand . If I miss a target I have the 18"x18" Block to stop my arrow. I also use the treestand deer target. Deitz Dittrich
Home made tagets are quite easy to make, and there are a lot of options out there...as far as back stops, I have seen ranges that use a rubber belt like material, but it can ruin an arrow like anything else. I think its just important to know whats behind your target and do your darndest not to miss your target.
