This is another good lake for fishing and I do well here the first few weeks of the season for eyes and jumbo perch. mainly we fish north of the island jigging or drifting with slip bobber and leech.

Fished BC this morning , on the lake by 5:30am. Targeted walleyes and caught 11 of which one was legal(18). Slip bobber with fat head minnow was the ticket on a red hook.Nothing on jig and minnow at all or on raps.

Vman, do you have any advice for getting some 'eyes out of there in early-mid September? We go there for vacation and have pretty good luck with everything but the walleyes. Thanks for any help

When i fish it in September I concentrate on the north end of the lake working the deep edges around the rock pile and along the east shore.Also the the two points on the west shore are good as well.

Fish the deeper weed edges that time of year should be the key.

I heard from a guy that they are getting some nice ones out there right now fishing the weed edges with Crankbaits.

Thanks for the help guys. By the way, has that lake had that big summer algae bloom yet like they have in past years?
