How early is too early??

Hey guys, I have got the Catfishin Blues! How long before our little friends start getting hungry again? I just started catfishing the end of last June at the KOTC get-together and I'm hooked! Now I'm wondering when a guy starts back up again?

I have started already, no luck yet, but have gotten into some fights with carp, and a couple snags. They will come around soon, when the water temps hit 50, you will start catching a few.

I got into a few yesterday on the Miss. They're in there, and they seem to be eating, just not very aggressive. Two hours, two fish landed and two that came unbuttoned before I got to see them. Not too exciting, but it sure beats doing laundry.

Howell, go to the bait shop and get yourself some frozen dead suckers and give it a shot from some likely spot on shore. You know the routine. They have been hitting very lightly. My best bite has been during low light.

I hear you on the catfish blues thou. We need a little more melt down here so I can get the boat out on the Zumbro.

Um... I think I'd rather do laundry than watch Idol. I'd rather hit myself on each toe with a ball-peen hammer (to find out which toe hurts the most) than watch Idol.

Some nice cats are being caught in hutchinson. right down by 3m under the old train bridge, watched 2 guys catch easily 15 or more in only a few hours
