0 markkstanley
Depends on your budget. You can use a 6ft 6" or a 7ft medium weight fast tip rod for both rigging and jigging . Limit Creek has a nice rod called the Smoothie which handles double duty well and runs under $90. I prefer to use a shorter rod for jigging. St Croix Avid 6ft 3 extra fast is my current rod. I have a Limit Creek 8ft telescoping rod that is great for rigging and should be good for slip bobbers too. In mid 100s you have the Jason Mitchell rods and St Croix Avids which you can't go wrong with. Limit Creek and Jason Mitchell are sponsors so you can find them in the sponsor area. Or a throwing a bone to Dietz, check out the Shimano Crucials or Convergence rods. My 3 way setup is a Shimano baitcaster paired with a 7ft Crucial medium fast. 0 Jim Uran
Or get a 6 foot medium action lightning rod for cheap and use it for everything, I fish a lot of different ways and i know rods are built differently for different types of fishing. But it's a nice rod and does the job just fine for both types you stated.
0 hhguide
Look at a 7Ft medium Heavy Fenwick rods for walleye rods I dont think you can go wrong with. I have all Fenwick except for one rapala jigging rod.
0 Sandmannd
I love my St. Croix rods for that. Medium light is great. You can look at the triumph series and they are quite a bit cheaper.
0 TrophyEyes
Here are a couple options depending on your price range. Expensive-G. Loomis IMX 6'6" Light, Fast - Great feel for lindy, jigging and spinners-St. Croix Avid 6'6" Medium Light, Fast - Also very nice for Lindy, jigging, and spinners Mid-Range- Shimano Crucial 7' Medium Light, Fast - I just bought the 7'2" for bobbers and love it. Might be better for lindy and spinners, I like shorter for jigging.- G. Loomis GL2 rods - Fenwick makes nice rods, but I would stick to Medium or Medium light for any lindy or jigging rod. You want the sensitivity.- Cabela's has some nice rods for this as well.Price Conscious - St. Croix Triumph- Cabela's Fish Eagle II- Gander Mtn. Guide series- Shimano has some nice combo's in this category. The long and the short of it is that a 6'6" medium light - medium, fast action rod would be the way to go.
