Wheelhouse requirements?

A friend and I were discussing the new requirements for wheelhouses. Does anybody know the exact requirements or any links to find them? Mainly wondering about the brake requirements and licensing as a RV if using as a camper. Thanks in advance!

you need to register it as a trailer. that is not new, but will now be enforced as they did away with the shelter tag for "portables". I don't think you'd have to register is as a camper, I'd just buy the permanent trailer lic for it and it should be good. Can't help you with brakes. I'd guess that if it's a fish house, you're not going to be that heavy that brakes would be required, but I'm not sure.

I believe MN. requires brakes on any trailer that weighs over 3,000 pounds. The license changes also. The one time permanent sticker is for trailers under 3,000 pounds also. Over 3,000 pounds and you will have to renew the plates every year.
