Anyone use live crappie minnows for fishing Cisco?

I've caught em on LOW on small minnows. Never tried minnows while fishing for them though.

I have caught a few cisco While fishing for crappies with crappie minnows but never tried out right to just fish for cisco's.

I've caught a few eaters on half a minnow and a small jig on LOW while crappie fishing and I've also caught a couple 6 - 8 inchers on a local lake with a full minnow and small jig while crappie fishing.

I still think your best bet is a kastmaster or swedish pimple with a dropper hook and either some small grub bait. I personally like white gulp maggots the best but the most common are waxies or euro larvae
