200mph............at Darlington??

The drivers at the Darlington test this week were hitting 200mph at the end of the back stretch!! Almost 20mph faster than last year on the old surface. Any bets on Goodyear bringing a horrible tire to slow them down in the corners? Should be a wild race!

I'm more worried about a bad race because at that speed they won't be able to pass or run side by side. That would be a problem...

If they are hitting 200 going into the back stretch, I think we could see some real hard wrecks in turn 3. Lawdog hit it...side by side racing and passing will be an issue.

Tires aside, I would wager when they get 43 cars on the track it won't be 200 going in, though..

This is going to be a tough year for many teams...a huge learning curve for teams with the cars, and for Goodyear with tire compounds. It will get better as the season goes, though..

Track position should play a factor. It seems to be the trend lately, get in front and stay there.

I think your right TNFL track position will be a be part of the race. I wonder if it will come down to a fuel mileage race with that kind of speed.
