Rethinking ice fishing duds for next year

I have to agree with what a lot of the others are saying about the AA suit. Its top notch in my book. I find it to be almost too warm at times. Just give Walleye Dan a call and he can probably fit you over the phone. My guess would say that you would just need a Large in the jacket and pants. I think they happen to run a little big in sizes. I bought from Dan this past winter and he was excellent to work with. I ended up sending back my first purchase as I just didn't care for the the camo pattern. There was no questions asked and he got me out the regular suit in just a couple of days. Fast and friendly service!! Get an AA suit....you wont be disappointed....money well spent.

Not true. Stearns and Mustang both make float coats and pants. Camo available as well. Not to mention they are coast guard approved.

I think at this point I will buy Artic Armor next fall because of the built in floatation. I will attempt to communicate with Walley Dan and perhaps it is true that he could predict what size I would need. Otherwise I see that JOes or the place in Madison Lake might have something in stock to see by next fall.

I am interested in the sospenders. SEemed to be some enthusiasm for them.

I was referring to suits that are designed and marketed specifically for ice fishing. Ice Armor, SnoSuit, Vexilar, Clam, etc.

I have never seen Arctic Armor for sale, except on the internet does any one know who carries it in the twin citys west side? I would like to see in person and try it on. RR

Sorry, I put down Ice Armour and ment the Arctic Armour. Heck of a suit and Walleye Dan is great to work with.

Yeah, i was curious of the same thing, but couldn't find the artic armor suits in the cities...all out. I just found a real good deal on the ice armor and am very pleased.
